This little restaurant is the bomb. I’ve never been let down and everyone enjoys the food so much they keep returning . The food is delicious and the price is absolutely worth it. Not a complicated menu which helps in keeping the lines flowing. I used to come here several times a week with coworkers during our lunches and that’s memories we share together. Great place. Good ribs. The staff ( one man, one woman) were very helpful ( Monday, April 28, 3:30 PM). Need to add Mac & cheese, and collard greens to the sides. Thanks again to the great staff!
The ribs are soooo good they sold out. HOWEVER! They gave me a couple to try on top of my already big lunch special and I can’t wait to call in an order in advance. The only thing better than the food was the staff. Friendly and accommodating. Thank you Poppa’s!
Best ribs in town! The chopped chicken BBQ sandwich is a hitter too! Make sure to get here early if you're coming for the ribs they sell out fast.
Finally able to stop by and try out this spot. First time I called to get some info and was advised they were sold out. So I was really looking forward to trying a plate. Told them it was my first time they gave a piece of a rib to try and I was sold!!!!!Got the half rack with two sides. It was so delicious. Like the staff said didn’t even need any sauce but still gave me some in case needed. But believe me didn’t need it at all. The ribs were literally right off the bone the flavor was perfect for me, nice smokey flavor hint of spice like I said no need for sauce at all. Beans were great and coleslaw was perfect not too wet and mushy. Staff was awesome too funny. Met the co owner sorry I forgot her name but she was super cool. Will be stopping back next I’m in town.
Poppa's BBQ is a hidden treasure (or at least for us who drove 30 minutes to get there from where we are staying.) Has "small town" vibes, service was great, BBQ was very good! I appreciate that it is served without sauce because I eat it plain, and it was perfect. Husband liked that he could use both sauces and liked them both. Would recommend it for sure!
This place is the bass cap secret and Central Florida promise you from east to west the food's the best the service is the best. The people the friendliest the place is neat and clean. Got handicap parking handicapped entrance. They do catering. It's big and roomy. Not so loud. You can do a little work in here. If you've never been to this place you got to come and check it out.
